Define your service

How CloudGTO Works?

Through simple inputs, CloudGTO will generate dynamic templates that spin up best practice serverless architecture as downloadable zip files containing all of the relevant IaC (Infra-as-code).

To build a serverless REST API with JWT authentication and API keys it could take even a seasoned AWS developer 3-5 days of work or a newer developer two weeks.

CloudGTO will generate the IaC, least privelige permissions, some application code, helper scripts, etc in minutes.

Step 1 - Define service

The first step is to define the high level of our service.

Name, Description, Default Stage and Region, Use Case, and Blueprint.

Use Case will dynamically change what info we need. Blueprint will help auto-fill remaining fields to speed it up further.

Step 2 - Add resources

The second step is to add resources that your service needs.

If you choose a blueprint, you will automatically have resources populated. You can add, edit, and delete based on your needs.

Resources supported: Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, VPC, and RDS

Step 3 - Add routes

The third step is to define the routes that your REST API will use.

If you choose a blueprint, you will have pre-populated routes connected to Lambda functions. You can add, edit, and delete based on your needs.

Routes support: Cognito JWT Authentication, API Keys, Lambda Proxy Integration, and all HTTP methods

Download & Deploy!

Once you've got your ideal service defined. Simply press "Build". You will then have the option to download your service locally as a zip file which contains all of the relevant IaC files, helper scripts, application code, and more. Simply follow the generated service README for steps to deploy, then open your favorite API testing client e.g. Postman or Insomnia and send your first API request.
